Job summary

Oklahoma State Department of Health is seeking a Project Manager to join the PMO in Oklahoma City. Responsibilities

• Perform standard project management deliverables including scope, objectives, change management, risk mitigation, budgeting, stakeholder and vendor engagement.
• Develop and manage project status reports for communication with stakeholders and PMO dashboard metrics.
• Implement change management practices in accordance with agency and PMO guidance.
• Forecast, manage, and acquire resources as necessary to achieve objectives.
• Ensure project activities and deliverables adhere to guidelines.
• Facilitate and manage contract processes from initiation to closure.
• Routinely perform gap and root-cause analysis and offer recommendations.
• Demonstrate ability to lead group facilitation with agency and independent parties.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) isseeking a qualified Project Manager to join its Project Management Office (PMO)located in the agency’s Oklahoma City office. Within the PMO, the ProjectManager will work with the team to leverage resources, drive efficiencies, andensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet overallobjectives. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction,coordination, implementation, execution, control, completion, and closing ofOSDH projects under the guidance and direction of the PMO, ensuring consistencywith the agency’s strategy, mission, commitments, and goals. The ProjectManager will serve as a primary contact for direction of agency resources andactivities as they relate to the life cycle of assigned projects. Requirements
