Job summary

Webcomconnect is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction initiatives in Northern California from planning through closeout. You will work with preconstruction, engineering, and field teams on a strong project portfolio and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates have 4–5+ years in commercial construction, a background with general contractors or subcontractors, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of commercial construction experience with PM responsibilities.
• Experience with general contractor or subcontractor environments.
• HVAC/plumbing/mechanical construction experience preferred but not required.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and cost control knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, change orders, and project documentation.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration
• Oversee procurement, material deliveries, and project milestones
• Lead project meetings and maintain relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to maintain project schedules and quality standards
• Identify project risks, resolve construction challenges, and support value engineering
• Mentor and support Project Engineers and other project team members

Summary

We're partnering with a well-established, employee-owned mechanical contractor that's continuing to grow its Northern California operations and is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its team.

This role offers the opportunity to manage large-scale commercial construction projects while working alongside experienced preconstruction, engineering, and field teams. The company has a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, providing long-term stability and opportunities for continued growth.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction software preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent construction experience
