Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC and plumbing projects in Southern California. You will manage budgets, schedules, procurements, and subcontractors from preconstruction to closeout, collaborating closely with field teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial mechanical construction, strong budgeting and leadership skills, and the ability to read drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical construction experience.
• Project management experience with a mechanical contractor or specialty subcontractor.
• Commercial HVAC and/or plumbing construction experience required.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and cost control.
• Experience managing procurement, subcontractors, change orders, and project documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience with healthcare, industrial, institutional, or other large-scale commercial projects preferred.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction software preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC and/or plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, schedules, and cost control
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and contract administration
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project scopes
• Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to maintain project schedules and quality standards
• Oversee subcontractor coordination, material deliveries, and project milestones
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Identify project risks, resolve construction challenges, and support value engineering
• Support quality control, inspections, and project closeout

We're partnering with a well-established, employee-owned mechanical contractor that's continuing to grow its Southern California operations and looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its team.

This role offers the opportunity to manage large-scale commercial, healthcare, and industrial construction projects while working alongside experienced preconstruction, engineering, and field teams. The company has a strong project pipeline, providing long-term stability and opportunities for continued growth.
