Job summary

RIMEPRO INC. is seeking a Project Engineer to support our Northern California commercial construction projects. You will work with Project Managers and field teams on large-scale commercial and healthcare initiatives.

The role emphasizes coordination, document control, and schedule/budget assistance, with exposure to a strong project pipeline and opportunities for career advancement. Experience in HVAC/plumbing is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience with a general contractor or specialty subcontractor.
• HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical construction experience preferred.
• Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and procurement.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and project stakeholders.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Track material deliveries, long-lead items, and project milestones.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with resolving field coordination issues.
• Support quality control, inspections, and project closeout.

We're partnering with a well-established, employee-owned mechanical contractor that's expanding its Northern California team and looking to add Project Engineers to support upcoming commercial construction projects.

This opportunity offers exposure to large-scale commercial and healthcare projects, working alongside experienced Project Managers and field teams. The company has a strong project pipeline and offers long-term stability, mentorship, and opportunities for continued growth.
