Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional manufacturing projects from concept to delivery. You will coordinate engineering, production, planning, purchasing, logistics, installation, and customer teams to ensure on-time, on-budget results of the highest quality.

You will drive project plans, milestones, and risk management, keeping stakeholders informed with clear communications and status updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Project Management, Account Management, Business Communications or related role.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, inventory management, warehouse operations, or production control.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and MRP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring successful execution at every stage.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource strategies with cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as the primary communication hub between account teams, production, planning, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, and installation.
  • Monitor milestones, identify risks, remove roadblocks, and implement solutions to stay on track.
  • Manage client and stakeholder expectations through clear communication, status updates, and meetings.
  • Track project budgets, monitor costs against PO, and support financial reconciliation.
  • Manage scope changes and communicate schedule and financial impacts.
  • Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and safety compliance.

Location: Minneapolis, MN | Schedule: 1st shift, 8am to 5pm | Starting Pay: $35/hour

In this role, you'll lead cross-functional projects in a design-to-build manufacturing environment, ensuring products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll serve as the central point of coordination across engineering, production, planning, purchasing, logistics, installation, and customer teams—keeping everyone focused on a shared goal.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Project Management, Account Management, Business Communications, or a related role.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, inventory management, warehouse operations, or production control.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and MRP systems.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing projects in a design-to-build manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, logistics, and cross-functional production processes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
