Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize CCA and module manufacturing processes, with emphasis on thru-hole technology. Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize CCA and module manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Support manufacturing processes involving thru-hole technology and Circuit Card Assemblies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across multiple CCA programs using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Conduct experiments and manufacturing trials to validate proposed process improvements.
  • Evaluate process changes for compatibility with existing equipment, systems, and production requirements.
  • Learn to develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
  • Support the development of design specifications for manufacturing fixtures and stencils.
  • Partner closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth implementation of process changes.
  • Work alongside senior engineers to expand your knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and best practices.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to production personnel.
  • Assist with training and mentoring manufacturing team members as needed.
  • Help troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and support solutions that improve overall process performance and reliability.

This is an exciting opportunity to take an active role in improving Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) and module manufacturing processes, with a particular focus on thru-hole technology. What You'll Be Doing

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll help optimize manufacturing operations while gaining valuable experience across multiple CCA programs. Your responsibilities will include:
