Job summary

Insight Global in Hartford, CT is seeking a Project Manager to support a major transformation initiative for a utility client. You will coordinate project activities, gather requirements, manage action items, and drive projects from planning through implementation.

You will partner with business and IT stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to facilitate meetings, track progress, identify risks, support software implementations, and coordinate testing efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
  • 5-7 years of project management, transformation, or process improvement experience.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and documenting workflows/processes.
  • Experience coordinating project tasks, meetings, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
  • Knowledge of accounting, finance, customer billing, or business operations.
  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, or related project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

This individual will coordinate project activities, manage action items, gather business requirements, support process improvement efforts, and help drive projects from planning through implementation.

The Project Manager will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and leadership to facilitate meetings, track project progress, identify risks, support software implementations, and coordinate testing efforts. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities while ensuring projects stay on schedule and deliver successful results.

  • Experience developing SOPs, process maps, and workflow documentation
  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, or related project management certification preferred
