Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Utilities Project Manager to lead multiple construction projects from start to finish, with hands-on leadership across wet and dry utilities and full lifecycle management from contract execution through closeout.

The ideal candidate will be decisive and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with clients, municipalities, and subcontractors to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience managing construction projects, focusing on utilities.
  • Proven expertise in wet and dry utility construction.
  • Experience working with municipalities and city agencies.
  • Strong understanding of civil infrastructure (roads, drainage, curbs, etc.).
  • PMP certification preferred or equivalent.
  • 3 years of estimating experience.

  • Manage 5+ utility construction projects concurrently from contract award through closeout.
  • Oversee wet and dry utility installations, including coordination and execution.
  • Serve as primary contact for clients, cities, and municipalities.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and field teams.

  • Handle project invoicing, including preparation and submission.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Oversee scope including roads, curbs, gutters, and drainage systems.

We are seeking a highly experienced Utilities Project Manager with deep expertise in both wet and dry utilities to lead multiple construction projects from start to finish. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can manage the full project lifecycle, from customer interaction and contract execution through closeout.

The ideal candidate is decisive, direct, and able to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 5+ utility construction projects concurrently from contract award through project closeout
  • Oversee all aspects of wet and dry utility installations, including coordination and execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, cities, and municipalities
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and field teams
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
  • Handle project invoicing, including preparation and submission
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Oversee scope including:
    • Roads
    • Curbs
    • Gutters
    • Drainage systems
