Job summary

RWE Design Build, a fast-growing design-build general contractor, seeks a Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects from pre-construction through closeout in Downers Grove, IL. The role emphasizes accountability, collaboration, innovation, and execution.

You will manage multiple projects, coordinate between clients and teams, and drive projects to successful completion while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Experience with Procore and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously while tracking schedules and budgets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, procurement, and execution activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents for accuracy.
• Identify risks early and develop practical solutions to keep projects moving.
• Monitor budgets, approve invoices, manage change orders, and track financials.
• Conduct regular project meetings and update stakeholders on progress.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of labor and materials.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive projects to successful completion while exceeding client expectations.

What You'll Do

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Experience with Procore and Microsoft Project.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
