About the Opportunity

We are partnering with 2 established industrial construction contractors in the Denver area seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex construction projects across structural steel, industrial facilities, manufacturing, and heavy commercial environments.

We are interested in candidates with either structural steel construction experience OR broader industrial construction project management experience. Experience in both is a plus, but not required.

This is an opportunity to join a growing organization with a strong project backlog, diverse industrial work, and the ability to take ownership of projects from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage industrial construction projects from preconstruction and planning through execution, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Oversee projects involving structural steel, industrial facilities, process piping, equipment installation, facility expansions, and other complex construction scopes.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, subcontractors, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate with field superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Lead project meetings, monitor construction progress, and proactively address scheduling or budget challenges.
  • Oversee project financials, including cost forecasting, change orders, and profitability.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers, assistant project managers, and field personnel.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience, ideally managing complex or multimillion-dollar projects.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Structural steel construction, fabrication, or erection
  • Industrial construction or general contracting
  • Manufacturing or processing facility construction
  • Heavy industrial construction, plant expansions, or facility upgrades
  • Mechanical/process piping, equipment installation, or multicraft construction
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field operations.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project financials, and contract administration.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional construction teams.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred, but not required:
  • Experience managing projects valued at $10M or more.
  • Background with self-performing industrial contractors or general contractors.
  • Experience overseeing multiple trades, including structural steel, piping, mechanical, and equipment installation.
  • Experience mentoring junior project management personnel.
  • Competitive base salary of $120,000–$140,000, depending on experience.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity.
  • Long-term career growth and leadership opportunities.
