Project Manager Role - Structural Steel

Location: Virginia, USA

Salary: $105,000+ Base + Bonus

The Opportunity

A confidential client within the steel construction industry is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join its team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to take responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned projects, working with internal teams, customers and external project stakeholders throughout the project life-cycle.

What You'll Be Doing

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing projects from award through completion.
• Coordinating project activities, schedules and deliverables.
• Working with customers, contractors and internal teams.
• Monitoring project budgets, costs and financial performance.
• Managing project changes and commercial considerations.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in steel construction or a closely related environment.

• Previous Project Management experience within the steel industry.
• Experience managing projects through multiple stages of delivery.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Experience with project forecasting and cost management.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• The ability to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A practical, accountable and solutions-focused approach.

Cost-to-complete experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
