Job summary

PSR Talent Solutions represents a well-established Texas construction firm delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the state. We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee delivery across commercial and operational sides, coordinating with field teams, clients, and subcontractors to keep programs on time and within budgets.

The role covers planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management for facilities, pipelines and pumping stations, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in water and wastewater construction.
• Experience managing water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• At least two completed projects in the sector.
• Experience across treatment, pumping, pipelines, or water distribution.
• Understanding of construction scheduling, project controls, and cost management.
• Experience managing subcontractors, clients, and project teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from planning through completion and handover.
• Establish and maintain project programmes, budgets, and delivery plans.
• Monitor project costs, progress, and performance during construction.
• Manage contracts and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Work with site and project teams to resolve issues and keep construction moving.
• Produce regular project updates, including schedule and progress reporting.
• Review project requirements and ensure alignment with drawings and contracts.
• Coordinate commissioning, completion, and final close-out.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify risks early and mitigate their impact on delivery.

PSR Talent Solutions is representing a well-established construction business with an active portfolio of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Texas.

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of water and wastewater projects, working across both the commercial and operational sides of the project. You will coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, clients and other stakeholders to keep projects progressing safely, efficiently and in line with agreed budgets and programmes.

Projects may include water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump and lift stations, major pipelines, water mains and associated infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Take ownership of projects from initial planning through to completion and handover.
• Establish and maintain project programmes, budgets and delivery plans.
• Monitor project costs, progress and performance throughout construction.
• Manage contracts and coordinate with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Work with site and project teams to resolve issues and keep construction moving.
• Produce regular project updates, including schedule and progress reporting.
• Review project requirements and ensure delivery remains aligned with drawings, specifications and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate commissioning, completion and final project close-out.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in water and wastewater construction.
• Demonstrable experience managing water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• A minimum of two completed projects within the sector.
• Experience across areas such as treatment, pumping infrastructure, pipelines or water distribution.
• Good understanding of construction scheduling, project controls and cost management.
• Experience managing subcontractors, clients and wider project teams.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to travel as required.
