Job summary

EMH&T is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our Transportation Planning and Design division in Columbus, OH. You will handle all aspects of project development and plan preparation, engaging in a variety of design projects including highways, drainage, and more.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, possesses a PE license in Ohio, and has over 10 years of civil engineering experience. EMH&T offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

  • Professional licensed in Ohio.
  • 10+ years work experience in civil engineering required, experience with ODOT preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of project development and plan preparation.
  • Design or redesign of highways/roadways, interchange design, drainage design.
  • Coordinate with public regulatory agencies and utility companies.
  • Gain experience on large-scale roadway design projects.

Job description

SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER - TRANSPORTATION PLANNING

EMH&T is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer, PE to join our team as a Project Manager in our Transportation Planning and Design division located in Columbus, OH.

You will have the opportunity to assist with all aspects of project development and subsequent plan preparation using drafting and engineering design techniques to meet our client needs. Typical projects involve design or redesign of highways/roadways, interchange design, drainage design, plan reviews, and coordination with public regulatory agencies and utility companies. You will be conscientiously mentored and will gain experience on a vast array of projects; including large-scale roadway design projects and city/township/county projects, offering a wide variety of scope.

  • Familiarity with CAD and design software, including: MicroStation and GEOPAK/OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation Engineering.
  • Profession licensed in Ohio.
  • 10+ years work experience in the civil engineering is required, experience with ODOT preferred.
