EMH&T in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Civil Engineer (EI) to join our Public Works team. The role involves preparing conceptual plans and plan sets using AutoCAD Civil 3D, with tasks including drainage analysis, grading, storm sewers, and roadways in alignment with local standards.
You will plan and organize workflow, coordinate with others, develop design calculations, and assist with plan reviews and modifications, contributing to project delivery and compliance.
EMH&T is currently seeking a Civil Engineer (EI) to join our Public Works team located in Columbus, OH.
Work includes preparing conceptual plans, exhibits, and plan sets while utilizing AutoCAD C3D. May include drainage analysis, preparing surfaces, line work and contour drawings from survey data points; developing plan and profile drawings and details, grading, utility plans, storm sewers, roadways, required easements, access drives, parking and more, in accordance with local zoning standards and internal EMH&T drafting standards. You may be responsible for planning and organizing workflow, coordinating and overseeing work prepared by others, developing design calculations and subsequent plan details and specifications, as well as assisting with plan reviews and modifications.
