Responsibilities include data collection, existing conditions and analysis, developing horizontal and vertical alignments, and preparation of MOT/traffic plans. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days in the office with flexibility for remote work.
A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is an ENR 500 A/E firm providing services in the disciplines of civil engineering, construction management and inspection, traffic and transportation design, water and wastewater systems, environmental and water resources, and landscape architecture.
AMT is seeking a Transportation Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join the transportation team in our Columbus, OH office.
Responsibilities include supporting a variety of projects such as: collecting data; conducting existing condition and alternative analysis for engineering reports; developing horizontal and vertical alignments; performing cross section and superelevation design; roadside barrier and ADA curb ramp design; roadway modeling; and MOT and traffic-related plans.

We provide an excellent work/life balance and an opportunity to work hybrid (combination of office and remote). 2-3 days in the office are expected, with flexibility to work remotely on other days.
