Job summary

EMH&T is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer, PE to join our Transportation Planning and Design team in Columbus, OH. You will work on design and redesign of highways, interchanges, and drainage, coordinating with agencies and utilities to meet client needs.

You will be mentored and gain exposure to large-scale roadway projects and multi-jurisdictional assignments, requiring strong leadership, communication, and CAD proficiency in MicroStation/ORD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation Engineering.
• Professional license in Ohio.
• 8–10 years of civil engineering work experience; ODOT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of project development and plan preparation using drafting and engineering design techniques.
• Design or redesign highways/roadways, interchanges, drainage, and plan reviews; coordinate with public regulatory agencies and utilities.
• Mentor and lead project team members on plan checks and calculations; handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

Senior Civil Engineer, PE

EMH&T is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer, PE to join our growing Transportation Planning and Design team located in Columbus, OH.

You will have the opportunity to assist with all aspects of project development and subsequent plan preparation using drafting and engineering design techniques to meet our client needs. Typical projects involve design or redesign of highways/roadways, interchange design, drainage design, plan reviews, and coordination with public regulatory agencies and utility companies. You will be conscientiously mentored and will gain experience on a vast array of projects; including large-scale roadway design projects and city/township/county projects, offering a wide variety of scope.
