Rycoe Enterprises, Inc. in Central NY is seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects from kickoff through closeout, coordinating resources, communicating with customers, and managing field operations to ensure safety, on‑time delivery, and budget compliance.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail‑oriented with strong relationships across customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel; requires a minimum of 5 years PM experience and a related degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate material procurement and resource allocation.
• Monitor budgets and track costs; identify and track change orders.
• Maintain records for daily reports, job tracking, productivity, and quality control.
• Conduct regular project meetings to provide updates to customers and management.
• Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, and final billing.
• Supervise, train and conduct performance discussions with field staff; promote safety and accountability.

Role Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects from kickoff through closeout. This role oversees resource coordination, customer communication, and field management to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple active project management while maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects through completion, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate material procurement and resource allocation.
• Monitor project budgets and track actual costs against estimates and identify, negotiate and track change orders
• Maintain records for daily reports, job tracking, productivity measures and quality control.
• Conduct regular project meetings to assess project status to provide updates to customers and management.
• Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, customer turnover, and final billing.
• Supervise, train and conduct performance discussions with field staff while promoting a culture of safety, accountability and effective communication.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, or a combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing utility, sitework, civil, infrastructure, underground, or commercial construction projects preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Compensation:

• Salary Range $70,000 to $120,000 depending on experience
