Job summary

RYCOE Enterprises Inc. is seeking an Estimator / Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction to closeout in Central NY.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required or preferred depending on role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating, project management, or a combination of both.
• Experience managing utility, sitework, civil, infrastructure, underground, or commercial construction projects preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Review bid invitations, plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine project fit and identify scope of work.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, prepare accurate cost estimates, evaluate pricing for source materials and subcontractors from supplies and establish purchase orders.
• Collaborate with CFO and leadership team to prepare and submit bids, create project budgets, prepare schedule of values and support AIA billing.
• Manage projects through completion, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate material procurement and resource allocation.
• Maintain records for daily reports, job tracking, productivity measures and quality control.
• Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, customer turnover, and final billing.
• Supervise, train and conduct performance discussions with field staff while promoting a culture of safety, accountability and effective communication.
