Job summary

ASC Process Systems, Inc. in the United States is seeking a project manager to lead work orders and coordinate schedules across assigned equipment projects. You will act as the liaison between engineering, production and customers, ensuring clear communication and on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 2–4 years of related experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel to domestic and international sites will be necessary as projects progress.

Job description

• Responsible for work order direction, step activities, and the overall equipment order schedule for assigned projects.
• Representing ASC to customers on assigned projects. Communicates directly with customers (including email, phone calls and in-person visits) to assure ASC collaborates with all customers as partners over the course of the projects. This includes hosting customers when visiting ASC.
• Create, maintain and communicate weekly project status reporting to customers.
• Works with the Project Management Manager to set priorities across assigned projects so that messaging regarding deadlines, work schedules, customer interactions, etc. is consistent.
• Follows the PMP (Project Management Process) that documents the expectations of all stages of the project management activities and provides input to keep it current.
• Follows overall department expectations (i.e. work hours, interactions with various departments, Appward, etc.) and applies Econoclave, oven, coil, and small-works equipment knowledge, schedule, budget, and processes to assigned projects.
• Follows the established expectations and processes for project management and planning and provides feedback to help improve the department's internal systems, workflows, and process documentation.
• Responsible for adherence to contract as the design, production, and testing is executed by the assigned engineering and production groups. Responsible for change-order quotations for extended work.
• Conduct shop visits to monitor build progress and coordinate closely with the Production Department to keep projects on schedule.
• Coordinate between engineers, planners, and production to ensure builds happen on schedule.
• Manages a personal load of assigned projects directly, from order through contract completion.
• Participate in regular department meetings and contribute to departmental goals, announcements, team building, and group training.
• Reinforces ASC and Engineering Department culture and Team Values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 to 4 years of related professional experience
• Experience in project management, equipment manufacturing, engineering, or a similar technical environment preferred
• Strong ability to manage schedules, priorities, budgets, and multiple projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence working directly with customers and coordinating across departments
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to take ownership, work independently, and keep projects moving forward
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic document management systems
• Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
• Willingness to periodically enter a heavy manufacturing environment and wear required PPE
• Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Positive, collaborative attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to ASC’s growth in the nuclear industry
