Job summary

Newman Properties Inc is seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee all phases of custom sign, service, and fuel rebranding projects. You will coordinate with internal teams, vendors, permitting authorities, and installation crews to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets client specs.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience with permitting and regulatory compliance, and proficiency in blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in signage, construction, or custom fabrication project management.
• Proven experience with estimating, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of sign types, materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, site plans, and construction drawings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Square Coil ERP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle for signage, service and fuel rebranding projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on schedule, quality, and cost control.
• Develop project timelines and critical path schedules in coordination with internal departments.
• Research and apply applicable municipal, zoning, and building codes for signage.
• Submit permit applications and manage the permitting process with local jurisdictions.
• Act as a liaison between the company and permitting authorities to resolve code compliance or variance issues.
• Coordinate with landlords, property managers, and city officials as needed to secure approvals.
• Order and source materials for projects according to brand books/design renderings/scope of work.
• Verify all materials for ship in’s for Fuel Branding projects have been received.
• Maintain inventory and storage of unused materials for future use.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including permits, estimates, and change orders.
• Track project budgets and timelines; prepare regular progress updates and reports.
• Perform project close out to ensure all expenses are accounted for and job costing is accurate.

Physical & Work Requirements

Must be able to conduct job site visits and site surveys. Occasional travel to client locations, city offices, and job sites. Comfortable working in office and field environments. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
