Job summary

Jobot in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects in the Baltimore region. The role manages all aspects from preconstruction through closeout, including client relationships, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and project financials.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within construction.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, contracts, and change management.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from award through completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and scope requirements.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, project costs, and profitability.
  • Lead change order management and risk assessment activities.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Baltimore region.

This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout, including client relationships, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, project financials, and team coordination.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can successfully manage multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with customers, field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, and change management
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion
Preferred
  • Existing customer relationships that could generate future business
  • Ability to attract or develop field talent
  • Experience with ERP/project management software
  • Electrical construction experience highly desirable
Location
  • Baltimore, MD area
  • Office-based or project-site based. Most project travel is local and typically under 30 minutes, with occasional travel up to approximately 2 hours.
