Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and typically 3+ years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong Excel skills with large data sets and metrics reporting.
• Experience hosting meetings with engineering teams to collect status, document risks and issues.
• Experience presenting status to leadership and creating weekly status reports.

Responsibilities

• Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities to maintain an integrated plan.
• Maintains metrics related to plans and provides data updates on program status.
• Assists experienced personnel with risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Coordinates documentation and schedules; reports performance variances and plan changes to stakeholders.
• Communicates recovery plans to ensure commitment from stakeholders.

Job Description

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Project Management Specialist 2, in Tukwila, WA. Job ID#218935

Pay Rate: $47 - $52/hr

Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.

Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.

Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.

Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules.

Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.

Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Advanced excel skills - Ability to work with large data sets to consolidate status, generate metrics .
• People skills -Experience hosting meetings with engineering teams to collect status, document risks and issues.
• Reporting - Experience putting together presentations on a weekly basis to convey performance to plan.
• Experience presenting status to leadership.
• Work location flexibility - Ability and willingness to work across multiple sites in the local Puget sound area including Seattle, Tukwila, Renton and Everett.

Education / Experience
