Job summary

TAD PGS, Inc. in Laurel, MD is seeking a Project Planner/Scheduler to manage Integrated Master Schedules in an EVMS-controlled environment. The role supports MS Project planning, EVM, and proposal planning.

You will collaborate with PMs, CAMs, financial managers, subcontractors, and sponsors to ensure timely delivery and robust reporting. The position favors leadership, initiative, collaboration, organization, and attention to detail within a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's in Business, Engineering or Economics (or a related field).
• Minimum 3 years of Planning/Scheduling experience managing project Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Strong MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and planning tools (MS Project, SSI Tools, KIDASA Milestone Professional, Acumen Fuse, Primavera, etc).
• Independent, motivated professional able to operate with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel to sponsor meetings/reviews as needed.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, update, status, manage, and report on project Integrated Master Schedules.
• OMS) in MS Project Server for Civil Space (CS) and National Security Space (NSS) Mission Areas.
• Develop and status IMSs at a detailed activity level with a roadmap to delivery.
• Develop critical path & schedule margin analyses and related trend/reporting.
• Provide Schedule Reports and Presentations to PMS, Execs, and sponsors at MMRs and reviews.
• Provide inputs for Earned Value Management (EVM) implementation and reporting.
• Support proposal planning/scheduling and respond to management inquiries.

We have an outstanding Contract position for aProject Planner/Schedulerto join a leading Company located in theLaurel, MDsurrounding area.

Pay Rate: $70 - $95

We are seeking a Project Planner/Scheduler to help us manage schedules for projects in an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) controlled environment. The successful candidate will provide MS Project planning/scheduling support, assist in Earned Value Management (EVM), and support Proposal Planning and Development. As a member of the Planning & Scheduling section, you will work closely with Project Managers, Control Account Managers (CAMs), Financial Managers, Sub-Contractors and Sponsors to support a variety of Planning/Scheduling duties. Our team values leadership, initiative, collaboration, organization, and attention to detail and utilizes a team approach in execution and problem solving .

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, update, status, manage, and report on project Integrated Master Schedules
• OMS) in MS Project Server for Civil Space (CS) and National Security Space (NSS) Mission Areas
• Develop and status IMSs at a detailed activity level, providing projects with a roadmap to delivery
• Develop critical path & schedule margin analyses as well as trend reporting & risk analyses
• Provide Schedule Reports and Presentations to various stakeholders (company PMS and Execs, as well as sponsors at MMRs and milestone reviews)
• Provide and maintain schedule inputs for Earned Value Management (EVM) implementation and reporting
• Provide proposal planning/scheduling support and assist in ad-hoc management inquiries from Section, Group and/or Sector management

Basic Hiring Criteria

• Bachelor's and/or Master's in Business, Engineering or Economics (or a related field)
• Minimum 3 years of Planning/ScheduIing experience managing project Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs)
• Are highly skilled in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and miscellaneousPlanning/Scheduling tools ( forProject , SSI Tools, KIDASA Milestone Professional, Acumen Fuse, Primavera, etc)
• Are a highly motivated, goal-oriented professional who is capable of independent operations
• Are willing and able to travel to sponsor meetings/reviews, as necessary
• Possess demonstrated oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills; have the ability to manage competing priorities in a demanding environment
• Have experience with Critical Path Analysis (CPA) and Schedule Margin Analysis (SMA)

Desired Qualifications

• Possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification
• Are experienced in conducting Schedule Health Checks and Schedule Risk Analyses(SRAs)
• Possess advanced MS Excel and Power BI skills generating and utilizing Visual Basic Macros
• Have experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Have experience managing large IMSs in the Aerospace Industry
• Have experience working in MS Project Server as a Project Server Administrator
• Currently hold, or are able to obtain, a Secret or Top Secret security clearance
