Position Overview

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join our Program Management Operations (“PMO Ops”) team supporting the Managed Parts portfolio of Exchange Programs. This includes Component Services, Landing Gear Exchange, and AeroStructures programs, essential for our airline customers to minimize downtime and keep fleets flying, based in Seattle, WA.

The PMO Ops team focuses on improving and growing the business through strategic initiatives, supporting projects such as systems implementations, process improvements, data visualization, and business development. We promote diversity, quality, value, and respectful collaboration.

This role operates in a fast-paced, global environment, supporting a variety of projects from large-scale initiatives to quick-win process improvements. Strong communication, organizational skills, and relationship-building are critical.

This position is 100% onsite at Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, coordinate, and analyze plans, schedules, and budgets for complex projects and programs.
  • Conduct studies, risk assessments, and planning to identify impacts and process improvements.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and refine business cases.
  • Establish lead time requirements and ensure integration of project plans and processes.
  • Act as primary contact for stakeholders, managing all project phases from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategic objectives.

Note: Must meet Export Control requirements; a “US Person” status (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) is required.

Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years in program or project management, with experience in planning, risk management, and performance oversight.
  • 10+ years leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with aftermarket exchange programs (PBH).
  • Airline industry experience.
  • PMP Certification.
  • SAP or systems implementation experience.
  • Experience working in a global team environment.
Education & Experience

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Information

Boeing maintains a drug-free workplace and offers competitive total rewards packages, including health benefits, retirement plans, and paid time off. Pay range: $115,600 - $156,400. Applications accepted until May 09, 2025.
