Job summary

QXO is seeking a Delivery Associate to support accurate preparation, handling, and unloading of materials for customers and job sites. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include unloading materials, stocking sheets, teamwork across residential and commercial sites, and maintaining organization while following OSHA policies. Prior warehouse or material handling experience is preferred and forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, delivery, or material handling roles.
• Ability to use material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with building materials or industrial products desirable.

Responsibilities

• Unload drywall, insulation, steel studs, and other construction materials from delivery trucks.
• Carry and stock drywall sheets in designated rooms and floors according to job site plans.
• Work as part of a team to safely transport materials through residential and commercial buildings.
• Inspect materials for damage and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.
• Properly use material handling equipment and PPE.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and crew members.
• Assist with loading, cleanup, and other warehouse or job site duties as assigned.
• Complete basic documentation related to deliveries, inventory, and order tracking.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
