Job summary

QXO is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse, yard, inventory, shipping, and receiving operations. You will supervise staff, coordinate inventory flow, and drive process improvements while upholding safety and customer service standards.

The ideal candidate is an experienced building materials operations leader with hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on proactive issue resolution to protect customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, operations, building materials, or related environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse/operational environments.
• Basic proficiency with computers, inventory systems, and business applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse and yard operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient material flow.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, staging, and movement of building materials.
• Coordinate inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliations with Purchasing/Sales.
• Coach and develop operational staff, set priorities, and manage staffing.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and PPE standards.
