Job summary

QXO is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily delivery operations, schedule drivers, and ensure on-time, accurate customer deliveries in a fast-paced building materials environment.

You will work with Warehouse, Operations, Drivers, and Customer Service to optimize routes, manage equipment, and maintain DOT safety compliance, while delivering excellent service.

Strong organizational skills and local delivery knowledge are essential; prior dispatch or logistics experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous dispatch/logistics experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local delivery area.
• Understanding of DOT and transportation safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating fleets and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate daily deliveries and pickups.
• Plan and assign drivers, helpers, trucks, and equipment.
• Communicate delivery plans to warehouse and operations teams.
• Monitor and adjust schedules due to delays or changing conditions.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safety policies.
• Provide cross-functional support to sales, customer service, and drivers.
