Job summary

Samuels & Associates seeks a highly organized Project Manager to oversee tenant improvement projects, capital upgrades, and select development initiatives across our portfolio in Boston. You will act as the Owner's representative, coordinating with leasing, development, property management, legal, and construction partners.

The ideal candidate has strong PM, budgeting, scheduling, and tenant coordination experience in commercial real estate, retail, office, or mixed-use environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in commercial construction, owner's PM, development, or construction management.
• Experience managing retail, office, mixed-use, or tenant improvement projects.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, contracts, permitting, and project delivery knowledge.
• Experience reviewing architectural and engineering drawings and construction documentation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail and office tenant improvement projects from lease execution through tenant opening.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and construction milestones.
• Coordinate tenant delivery and monitor progress to meet lease obligations and timelines.
• Review tenant plans for landlord requirements, building standards, and lease provisions.
• Monitor costs, review change orders, and approve invoices/draw requests.
• Lead project meetings and provide status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Manage closeout activities including punch lists, turnover docs, warranties, and final accounting.
• Coordinate with leasing, development, legal, operations, and construction teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering/Architecture/Real Estate or related field
