Job summary
Ampcus Inc in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Project Lead 3 to support a Technical Project Manager on a data engineering and AI adoption program. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project deliverables, and ensure alignment between business, engineering, and AI stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years leading data, analytics, and cloud projects, strong project management and stakeholder communication, and PMP certification.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading technical projects in data, analytics, and cloud environments.
- 10+ years managing data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing initiatives.
- 10+ years delivering business intelligence, analytics, and big data projects.
- 10+ years supporting healthcare data initiatives (knowledge of FHIR, CCDA, and HL7 is a plus).
- Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
- Experience defining project scope, schedules, milestones, budgets, and success metrics.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking, and resource planning.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
- PMP certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex technical projects.

- Develop project charters, schedules, milestones, status reports, and documentation.

- Track project deliverables and ensure successful implementation.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Work closely with data engineers, architects, developers, analysts, and business partners.
- Support cloud platform and data pipeline initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, compliance, and project management best practices.
