Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to support enterprise data engineering and AI adoption initiatives within a large, complex environment.

This role will partner closely with technical leadership to drive cross‑functional coordination, project execution, and delivery tracking across data platforms, cloud environments, and AI/ML programs. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of project/program management, data/analytics expertise, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of moderate to complex technical programs
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and success metrics
  • Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across teams
  • Provide regular status reporting to leadership and stakeholders
  • Support delivery of data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML adoption programs
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and AI teams
  • Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
  • Track deliverables across data pipelines, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems
Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business‑friendly communication
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and decision‑making sessions
Governance, Planning & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain project plans, charters, schedules, and documentation
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Utilize tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or Smartsheet
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience managing technical projects/programs in data, analytics, or cloud environments
  • 10+ years leading data architecture, data modeling, or data warehousing initiatives
  • Proven experience managing BI, big data, and analytics programs in enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database technologies
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and enterprise data systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams, vendors, and complex timelines
  • Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, ADO, MS Project, Smartsheet)
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills

✅ PMP Certification is REQUIRED (must be listed on resume)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated environments (FHIR, HL7, CCDA is a plus)
  • Exposure to AI/ML, advanced analytics, or digital transformation programs
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with SDLC, enterprise architecture, and IT processes
  • Additional certifications such as PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, TOGAF, or Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite (Wed & Fri), 3 days remote
  • Standard business hours with occasional after‑hours support as needed
