Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Cincinnati is recruiting a Project Head for Energy & Endo-mechanical Platforms. You will lead the New Product Development program, coordinating with R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Quality to deliver innovative medical devices.

This role requires 10+ years in NPD, experience in regulated devices, and a proven ability to drive programs on schedule and within budget. Hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site; relocation may be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline is required.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of new product development work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years working in a regulated industry.
• Proven ability to lead regulated programs through market introduction.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and execution skills.
• Ability to influence across a matrixed organization and navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for end-to-end execution and delivery of the NPD program, including scope, schedule, and cost.
• Owns program status communication, planning, tracking, and risk management.
• Leads cross-functional program execution with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Finance, and Marketing.
• Establishes disciplined operating rhythms with core team meetings and milestone planning.
• Manages the triple constraint (time, scope, resources) and escalates risks as needed.
• Develops scenarios, assesses trade-offs, and clearly communicates implications.
• Champions an inclusive, high-performing team culture with shared ownership of outcomes.
