You will partner with Project Managers, Operations, and Accounting to set up projects, manage funding and budgets, support client billing, and ensure data accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in project accounting, billing, or contract administration.
• Experience with project-based organizations (engineering/consulting/architecture/utilities/construction).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience interpreting contracts, purchase orders, and billing terms.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Resourceful problem solving and continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up new projects in Deltek Vantagepoint based on contract terms and funding.
• Maintain project structures, billing terms, labor categories, funding limits, and rate schedules.
• Track purchase orders, change orders, and project modifications.
• Monitor funding utilization and identify over-budget or funding concerns.
• Review unbilled (WIP) balances and investigate billing delays.
• Prepare client invoices and ensure timely billing in coordination with PMs and accounting.
