Join to apply for the Project Finance Controller (Remote) role at ICF.

Description

We are looking for a Project Finance Controller to join our Energy, Environment & Infrastructure (EEI) group. Responsibilities include project setup, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, variance analysis, and reporting. You will have the opportunity to interface with Program Managers to share financial results and identify future expectations.

This is a remote position with a preference for candidates near Austin, TX.

What You Will Do

• Work with Project Managers and serve as the Finance Representative on project teams.
• Build relationships with departments such as Contracts, Pricing, Accounting, Project Management, and Business Units.
• Communicate financial results to management and highlight risks and opportunities during reviews.
• Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Prepare and analyze project forecasts, including EAC and ETC.
• Set up projects in ERP systems for various contract types, ensuring compliance with SOX policies.
• Maintain ERP project data and ensure data quality.
• Manage invoice processing, review, approval, and collections.
• Handle subcontractor invoices and related reporting.
• Prepare and submit financial reports and dashboards.
• Monitor project funding and expenditures, especially regarding the Limitation of Funds.
• Assist with project closeout financial documentation.

What You Will Bring With You

• At least 2 years of experience in Project Finance or a related role.
• Experience in government or commercial contracting, including T&M and fixed-price contracts.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Deltek Costpoint.
• Willingness to work Central Time Zone hours.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

• Experience with contracts involving multiple revenue types.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and teams.
• Proficiency with MS365 applications, especially Excel.
