Job description

We are looking for a Project Finance Controller to join our Energy, Environment & Infrastructure (EEI) group. Responsibilities include project setup, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, variance analysis, and reporting. You will have the opportunity to interface with Program Managers to share financial results and identify future expectations.

This is a remote position, preferably for candidates near Austin, TX.

What You Will Do

1. Work with Project Managers and serve as the Finance Representative on project teams.
2. Build collaborative relationships with departments across ICF, such as Contracts, Pricing, Accounting, Project Management, and Business Unit Leads.
3. Communicate financial results to management and inform project managers and senior personnel of risks and opportunities.
4. Ensure timely and accurate project revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
5. Prepare and analyze project forecasts, including EAC and ETC analyses.
6. Set up projects in ERP systems for various contract types, following internal policies.
7. Maintain ERP project data and ensure data quality.
8. Oversee invoice processing, review, approval, and follow-up on collections.
9. Manage subcontractor invoices and related financial data.
10. Prepare and submit project reports and dashboards.
11. Monitor project funding and expenditures, including contract limitations.
12. Assist in project closeout with necessary financial documentation.

What You Will Bring

• Over 2 years of experience in Project Finance or related roles.
• Experience in government or commercial contracting, including T&M and fixed-price contracts.
• Proficiency with ERP and financial systems, preferably Deltek Costpoint.
• Willingness to work Central Time Zone hours.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

Additional Preferences

• Experience with contracts involving multiple revenue types.
• Ability to collaborate with clients, teams, and management.
• Proficiency in MS365 applications, especially Excel.
