Job summary

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with government contracting practices, with a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000. The role involves coordinating with program managers and various departments, processing invoices, and ensuring cost control and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience OR associate's with 6+ years OR HS diploma with 10+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with Excel, pivot tables, and lookup formulas.

Responsibilities

• Interface with program managers, senior staff, and contracts, finance, HR, payroll, AR, procurement, and subcontract management.
• Process and monitor subcontractor invoicing status; support monthly sub-contractor accruals.
• Assist Program/Project Analyst with accounts payable tasks.
• Reconcile entries, verify system reports, and maintain records.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and prepare analyses and monthly reports.
• Set up vendors/employees in Costpoint and assist with timesheet submission.
• Create purchase orders and manage revisions in Costpoint.
• Coordinate project codes with start/termination dates for project staff.
• Review task orders and MODs for accuracy; track costs vs budget.
• Identify discrepancies and support month-end close; ad-hoc analytics for annual workplan.
