Job summary

Capital Search Group in Reston, VA is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financials for a portfolio of government contracts in a hybrid work environment. You will lead planning, analysis, and reporting across EACs, revenue recognition, cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting.

This senior role collaborates with project managers, contracts, accounting and business-unit leaders, supporting month-end close and variance analysis, while building scalable processes for the team.

Our government contracting client located in Reston, VA (hybrid remote) is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. This will manage the financials for a portfolio of contracts. Duties include management of EAC’s, revenue recognition, cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting, supporting the month end close process, variance/trend analysis, and project set up/close outs among other tasks. This will also help build and develop the processes and reporting structures of this group. There will be coordination with project managers, contracts groups, accounting and business unit leads. This is a visible role with Senior Management.

This candidate should have a strong background in government contracting and be familiar with various contract types.

Compensation is targeted at $120K-$150K + Bonus + Equity and Excellent Benefits but flexible depending on candidate backgrounds.
