Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Finance Analyst to support project accounting and financial forecasting. You’ll engage in cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance, contributing to monthly close and reporting packages for project managers.

Work involves learning cost components across labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts, with opportunities to grow within the Bridge & Marine Group in the Pacific Northwest. Relocation may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and other key Excel functions is preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes the importance of teamwork and adapts to project needs.
• Fosters relationships with the Operations team and learns project work.
• Understands payroll and HR process workflows, and the systems used to hire, transfer, terminate, and pay employees.
• Manages purchasing workflow internal controls and accounts payable processes.
• Supports cost reporting and timely billing documentation for cash management.
• Assists with forecast and budget reviews to ensure proper recognition of cost and revenue.
