Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Finance Analyst to support project accounting and financial tasks on large-scale construction programs. You will participate in cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end close activities, helping deliver timely reporting to project management.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, 0-2 years of experience, and strong Excel skills. Relocation/travel may be needed as projects span North America.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years' financial/data analysis experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Previous internship experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience working with Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other key excel functions is preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
  • Ability to travel and relocate initially and throughout your career as business requires.

Responsibilities

  • Supports cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable functions.
  • Assists with month-end close and financial reporting packages for management.
  • Learns payroll HR workflow and hiring processes.
  • Supports intercompany and client billing processes to ensure timely invoicing.
  • Maintains internal controls over purchasing and cost reporting.
