Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction seeks a Project/Field Engineer to work with Project Managers and Superintendents to resolve field construction issues, develop schedules, and prepare project analyses. You’ll coordinate with subcontractors and client reps to ensure accurate plans, cost control, and timely delivery.

Safety is integral in our Incident and Injury Free culture; travel to project sites up to 70+ miles is required.

Qualifications

• Read, comprehend, and apply building plans and specs.
• Experience in design, estimating, and/or field supervision preferred.
• Familiarity with construction accounting and contracts preferred.
• OSHA 10 or higher safety training current.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and resolve field construction problems and discrepancies.
• Develop project reports, schedules, and analyses for assigned scopes.
• Liaise with subcontractors and client representatives.
• Review shop drawings before issuance to subs and filings.
• Track time sheets and project metrics; monitor progress, costs, and cash flow.
• Assist with bid packages, estimates, changes, and punch lists.
• Support safety program implementation and quality management.
