Job summary

Quest Personnel is seeking a Project Executive for Affordable Housing Rehab in New York City. The role delivers NYCHA, HPD and Section 8 rehab projects, overseeing senior project teams and maintaining key client relationships.

You will manage budgets, schedules and contracts across a portfolio of occupied rehabilitations. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction with senior PM experience, NYC exposure, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience with significant senior project management experience.
• Proven experience delivering affordable housing rehabilitation/renovation projects.
• Experience with NYCHA, HPD, Section 8 or similar affordable housing programs.
• Strong understanding of occupied rehabilitation and working within existing residential buildings.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and project teams.
• Strong client-facing and leadership skills.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, schedules and project performance.
• NYC construction experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple affordable housing rehabilitation projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Lead delivery of NYCHA, HPD, Section 8 and occupied rehabilitation projects.
• Provide senior oversight across project teams, Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, agencies, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement and project performance.
• Identify and resolve commercial, scheduling and construction issues.
• Support project teams with strategy, client management and delivery.
• Work closely with senior leadership on the wider affordable housing portfolio.

Our client, a well-established Developer/General Contractor with a strong presence across the New York affordable housing market, is looking to add an experienced Project Executive to their team.

This is a senior opportunity focused on the delivery and oversight of NYCHA, HPD, Section 8 and occupied affordable housing rehabilitation projects across New York City.

The business has a strong secured pipeline and is looking for someone who can take ownership of a portfolio of projects, work closely with clients and senior leadership, and help drive delivery across the wider business.
