Job summary

Sora Resource Group in Denver, CO seeks a Senior Healthcare Project Manager to lead complex hospital and clinical construction projects. You will manage teams, coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers, and drive preconstruction and execution in occupied environments.

The role requires extensive healthcare project experience, strong communication, and ability to navigate regulatory and infection control standards to minimize patient disruption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
  • 8+ years of construction experience with strong healthcare project experience required
  • Experience with hospital renovations/expansions and working in occupied healthcare environments
  • Experience managing phasing, infection control measures, and complex MEP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in highly regulated environments
  • Ability to support and grow healthcare client relationships and business development efforts

Responsibilities

  • Deliver successful healthcare construction projects through strong process, scheduling, and project controls
  • Manage projects and lead teams on hospitals, medical office buildings, and clinical facilities
  • Communicate effectively with owners, architects and engineers
  • Coordinate projects in occupied healthcare environments, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care
  • Support of the preconstruction team
  • Support business development efforts including RFP responses and client interviews in the healthcare sector
  • Lead meetings such as OAC and monthly project status reviews
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control (ICRA), and life safety requirements (ILSM)

Position Requirements
You should possess the following qualifications for this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of construction experience with strong healthcare project experience required
Proven experience with:
  • Hospital renovations and expansions
  • Work in occupied/active healthcare environments
  • Experience managing phasing, infection control measures, and complex MEP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in highly regulated environments
  • Ability to support and grow healthcare client relationships and business development efforts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good client management skills and ability to lead teams through the preconstruction and construction process, especially with healthcare systems and facility teams
  • Bluebeam experience/capability desired
  • Procore experience/capability desired
