Responsibilities

  • Deliver healthcare construction projects with strong process, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Lead teams on hospitals, medical office buildings, and clinical facilities.
  • Communicate with owners, architects, and engineers.
  • Coordinate projects in occupied healthcare environments with minimal patient disruption.
  • Support the preconstruction team.
  • Support healthcare BD efforts including RFP responses and client interviews.
  • Lead meetings such as OAC and monthly status reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control, and life safety requirements.

Education

Overview

An established construction firm specializing in healthcare facilities is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex hospital and clinical construction projects. This role offers a high-growth path toward senior management for a professional ready to take ownership of demanding healthcare builds within active patient-care settings.

What you'll do
  • Deliver successful healthcare construction projects through strong process, scheduling, and project controls
  • Manage projects and lead teams on hospitals, medical office buildings, and clinical facilities
  • Communicate effectively with owners, architects, and engineers
  • Coordinate projects in occupied healthcare environments, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care
  • Support the preconstruction team
  • Support business development efforts including RFP responses and client interviews in the healthcare sector
  • Lead meetings such as OAC and monthly project status reviews
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control (ICRA), and life safety requirements (ILSM)
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of construction experience with strong healthcare project experience required
  • Proven experience with hospital renovations and expansions
  • Experience working in occupied/active healthcare environments
  • Experience managing phasing, infection control measures, and complex MEP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in highly regulated environments
  • Ability to support and grow healthcare client relationships and business development efforts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good client management skills and ability to lead teams through the preconstruction and construction process, especially with healthcare systems and facility teams
Preferred qualifications
  • Bluebeam experience/capability desired
  • Procore experience/capability desired
Compensation and benefits
  • Salary range: $125,000-175,000
