Job Details

We are looking for a Project Engineer or Sr. Project Engineer for our Transportation Team in Roseville/Sacramento. You will assist Project Managers with delivering multiple transportation projects for public agencies and private clients, focusing on transportation engineering tasks such as intersection/roadway widenings, highway widenings, interchanges, bike trails/paths, etc.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute technical tasks and deliverables, coordinating a broad range of transportation-related projects.
• Support project team in design services, ensuring high-quality deliverables, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Design efforts may include research & analysis, engineering studies, street and highway design, transit and bicycle facility design, drainage, traffic control, signing/striping, and utility coordination.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants and internal staff, managing activities and schedules.
• Represent the company in meetings and presentations.

Education / Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• PE license in California.
• 3-8 years of experience with multi-disciplinary civil projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D; familiarity with Caltrans, local agency, and AASHTO standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MicroStation and OpenRoads.
