Transportation Engineer / Project Manager

Your Impact

As a Transportation Engineer and Project Manager, you’ll:

• Support the design of roads and highways for counties and state Department of Transportation (DOT) projects
• Lead roadway projects of various sizes and complexities, ensuring they’re delivered on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality
• Mentor and guide a talented team of engineers, project managers, and technicians, sharing your expertise and fostering their professional development in transportation projects
• Engage in public meetings, serve as a trusted communication resource, and make decisions that positively shape the communities we serve

Who You Are

You’re a forward-thinking leader with:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
• 10+ years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a strong background in roadway projects
• A Professional Engineer license and an understanding of MnDOT and Minnesota local agency specifications
• Strong communication skills and a knack for managing projects and teams
• Proficiency with design tools like MicroStation, Geopak/ORD, Civil 3D
• A desire to lead transportation projects across Minnesota

Location Flexibility

We value work-life balance and employee flexibility. This role can be based in one of our Minnesota offices, or be hybrid or remote for qualified candidates residing anywhere in Minnesota.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a highly competitive salary of up to $160,000, based on your experience and skills. The benefits package includes:
