Job summary

D'Leon Consulting Engineers is seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing Pacific Northwest transportation practice in Seattle. This role is designed for a multidisciplinary civil engineer who is ready to lead small teams, manage project scope, schedule, and budget, and develop toward a Project Manager role.

You'll work on transportation and transit projects across the Pacific Northwest, with exposure to civil/site design, grading and drainage, utilities, roadway, rail, and transit/BRT

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of civil/transportation engineering experience.
• PE licensure strongly preferred; license not mandatory with clear path.
• Experience with Sound Transit and Seattle/PNW agencies is valued.
• Knowledge of local design standards and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil and transportation design deliverables using Civil 3D/Forma, Bluebeam.
• Lead small multidisciplinary design teams and manage scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with clients and partner firms and support projects from design through construction.
• Progressively assume greater project-management responsibility.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to regional practice development.
