Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a Civil Transportation Engineer to join our Seattle or Tacoma team. You will contribute to civil and transportation design across heavy civil projects, while coordinating with designers, engineers, and project managers to deliver solutions.

Ideal candidates bring a PE or EIT, 4+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D, with strong teamwork and client service focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; EIT certification required.
• Minimum 4 years of full-time civil/site development design experience.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads; ArcGIS and AutoCAD a plus.
• Familiarity with WSDOT standards desirable.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Civil design and development of diverse projects with roadway and transportation focus.
• Lead tasks in design-build, waterfront, and industrial projects.
