Job summary

Talion Construction LLC in Murrieta, CA is seeking a Project Engineer to support construction projects. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is required, with 1+ year of project engineering experience and familiarity with RFIs and submittals.

You will interpret project plans, gather submittal data, input and track submittals in Prolog/ Submittal Exchange, review quotes, and maintain logs. Office-based, 7AM–4PM, Mon–Fri, in-office work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of project engineering experience.
• Experience with RFIs and submittals.
• Experience with VA/Federal construction projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and understand project plans.
• Gather submittal data and shop drawings for compliance.
• Input and track submittals using Prolog and Submittal Exchange.
• Review quotes from subcontractors/vendors and submit to Project Manager.
• Create and maintain logs with specification sections in coordination with PMs and clients.
• Build relationships with vendors and coordinate scheduling and risk management.
• Assist with material takeoffs and coordination with Site Support.
• Prepare RFIs and follow through to final resolution.
