Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent through project phases. Responsibilities include managing submittals, RFIs, and change orders, providing budget revisions, and supporting scheduling and subcontractor coordination. The ideal candidate will have a construction-related degree and at least 2 years of engineering experience. A competitive salary range of $78,000 to $105,000 is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Motivated for a long‑term career in construction.
• 2 years' project engineering experience.
• Preferred experience with progressive design build and K-12.

Responsibilities

• Manage the submittal process.
• Manage the RFI process.
• Manage the change order proposal process.
• Complete budget revisions in Viewpoint as required.
• Maintain a high level of safety.
• Support planning and scheduling projects.
• Solicit subcontractors for projects and manage plans.

Skills

Strong negotiation and leadership skills

4-year degree in a construction related major
