Job summary

Talion Construction LLC in Murrieta, CA is seeking a Project Engineer to support construction projects. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is required, with 1+ year of project engineering experience and familiarity with RFIs and submittals.

You will interpret project plans, gather submittal data, input and track submittals in Prolog/ Submittal Exchange, review quotes, and maintain logs. Office-based, 7AM–4PM, Mon–Fri, in-office work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of project engineering experience.
• Experience with RFIs and submittals.
• Experience with VA/Federal construction projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Interpret and understand project plans and
• Gather submittal data and shop drawings from Review subcontractor submittals to ensure compliance with project plans and
• Utilize software such as Prolog and Submittal Exchange to input and track submittal
• Obtain and review subcontractor/vendor quotes, submitting them for Project Manager
• Create and maintain logs using all Specification Sections in coordination with Project Managers and clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers,).
• Order materials and assist with material takeoffs in collaboration with the Site Support
• the Project Manager and Site Superintendent in scheduling, tracking, issue management, risk management, change management, and status reporting.
• Create agendas for weekly meetings and internal project
• Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) and follow through to final
• Perform other related duties
