French & Parrello Associates (FPA) in Wall Township, NJ, seeks a Project Engineer in our Structural Engineering Department to lead design and coordination across disciplines for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

The role involves applying sound judgments, preparing calculations and documents, and working with senior engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5 years of structural engineering experience in a consulting environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Jersey.
• Working knowledge of building codes and structural analysis/design software.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Responsabilidades

• Support planning, design, and delivery of structural engineering projects for various buildings.
• Assist in design and analysis of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specs, and related docs.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with senior engineers and project managers.
• Support construction administration activities including shop drawings review and RFIs.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and project requirements.
• Mentor junior staff and progressively take greater project responsibility.
